AREAS AFFECTED: Pine Ridge/Nebraska National Forest; Box Butte/South Sioux/Niobrara River; Lower North Platte River Basin/Scottsbluff National Monument; Lodgepole Creek/Southern Nebraska Panhandle; Niobrara/Lower Elevations of Converse/Thunder Basin National Grassland; Middle North Platte River Basin/Niobrara and Converse High Plains; North Laramie Range and Adjacent High Plains; Laramie Foothills and High Plains; Laramie East High Plains; Bordeaux/Chugwater/Wheatland; Goshen/Middle-Lower North Platte River Basin
DESCRIPTION: ...Multi Day Red Flag Warning... .Critical fire conditions are expected through the week, with poor overnight humidity recoveries and no precipitation. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 417, 418, 419, 430, 431, 432, 433, 434, 435, 436, and 437. * WIND...Sustained winds 20 to 30 mph, gusting up to 35 mph. * HUMIDITY...7 to 12 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Poor overnight humidity recoveries are expected for the duration of the Red Flag Warning. Well above average temperatures are also expected which will contribute considerably to the dry conditions.
INSTRUCTION: A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
