East Central Texas County in south central Missouri... * Until 100 AM CDT. * At 702 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Raymondville, Hartshorn, Akers, Eunice, Yukon, Round Spring, Current River State Park, Echo Bluff State Park and Ozark National Scenic Riverways. This includes the following low water crossings... Gladden Creek at Highway KK, Spring Valley at Highway N and Big Creek at County Road 390. This includes the following streams and drainages... Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the ground and obscures visibility.

It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets. Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions close to a body of water.

Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
