Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro. .Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro Tuesday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and will continue. * WHERE...Big Muddy River near Murphysboro. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 26.2 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
INSTRUCTION: Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
